The Window Matters. The Install Matters More.
A premium window installed out of square, under-insulated, or badly flashed performs worse than a mid-grade window installed right. Drafts, condensation between panes, water stains under the sill — those are install failures, not window failures.
We install replacement windows with the same documentation as everything else we do: measured openings, a written scope, and a flat price per opening.
What a Proper Install Includes
- Accurate measurement. Every opening measured individually — houses settle, and "all the windows are the same size" almost never survives a tape measure.
- Square, level, insulated. Units shimmed square and level, gaps insulated with low-expansion foam so frames don't bow, sashes operating smoothly before we trim.
- Flashed and sealed against water. Proper flashing and exterior sealing so water sheds out — the step cheap installs skip because you can't see it when they leave.
- Trimmed and finished. Interior and exterior trim installed, caulked, and — through our painting services — finished to match the room.
Found rot in the frame or sill once the old unit comes out? Work pauses and you get photos plus a written change order. We don't wrap rot in new trim and call it done.
